About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading our data science projects and guiding our team of data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of data science projects from concept to deployment, ensuring the use of best practices and methodologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our projects
• Conduct research and experiments to identify new data sources and techniques that can enhance our data capabilities
• Communicate complex data science concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data availability, quality, and security for data science projects
• Develop and maintain documentation for data science projects, including code, models, and methodologies
• Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new data scientists, and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience working with SQL databases
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data science projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and present complex information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred
