Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's computer systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and provide technical support to our end-users. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of various operating systems, networking, and security protocols, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement computer systems and infrastructure to meet the company's needs
• Monitor and maintain the performance and security of our systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to our systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements
• Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with any system-related inquiries
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the industry to propose innovative solutions for system enhancements
• Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures
• Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Participate in system testing and evaluation to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Train and mentor junior system engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS
• Proficient in networking protocols and security principles
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus
