Responsibilities:

As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the established budget and timeline. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables

Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets to ensure timely and successful completion of projects

Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle

Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

2. Design and Development:

Utilize your technical expertise to design and develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements

Collaborate with team members to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and objectives

Conduct thorough testing and analysis to validate design functionality and identify any potential areas for improvement

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to support their professional growth

3. Team Management:

Lead a team of engineers and provide ongoing support, guidance, and direction to ensure project objectives are met

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to promote teamwork and productivity

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their development and growth within the company

4. Stakeholder Management:

Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination on project deliverables

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners to support project success

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget

Strong technical background and expertise in engineering principles and design

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively

Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor team members

Proficient in project management software and tools

Professional engineering license or certification is a plus.
