Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Warehouse Designer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's data warehouse system. You will work closely with data analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and create efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data warehouse solutions to support business reporting and analytics needs
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data models
• Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Develop and maintain data mappings, data dictionaries, and other documentation related to data warehouse design and ETL processes
• Optimize data warehouse performance by identifying and resolving data quality and performance issues
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines to support data warehouse operations
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform data warehouse design and development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and analytics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Designer or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
