Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of our databases
Conduct thorough testing of data entry processes, data retrieval, and data manipulation
Identify and document any defects, issues, or anomalies in the databases
Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
Conduct performance testing to ensure databases can handle large amounts of data and maintain optimal performance
Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for database testing
Monitor and analyze database performance and make recommendations for optimization
Continuously improve and enhance database testing processes and procedures
Communicate test results and recommendations to key stakeholders and team members
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database testing techniques and tools

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in database testing
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems
Experience with database testing tools, such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
Proficient in developing and executing test scripts and plans
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects
Experience with performance testing and optimization techniques
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
