Salary: $152000 - $192000

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, infrastructure as code, and automation to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on Azure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Implement automation and scripting to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Work closely with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices on the Azure platform.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Stay updated on the latest Azure features and services and make recommendations for their adoption.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to build and deploy applications on Azure.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
• Strong understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Azure Automation, Azure Functions, and PowerShell DSC.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400 are a plus.
