Position: Azure Data Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions on the Azure platform. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex data solutions on the Azure platform, including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop data models, data flow diagrams, and other technical documentation to support the design and development of data solutions.
• Utilize your strong knowledge of Azure technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database, to architect scalable and secure data solutions.
• Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and recommend improvements to existing data solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior data architects and provide guidance on data architecture principles and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure data technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and data design principles.
• Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to come up with innovative data solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
