Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, high-performance Hadoop-based solutions to meet business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
Create technical design documents and participate in code reviews
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, Spark, and MapReduce
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Optimize Hadoop cluster performance and capacity planning
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Hadoop technology and identify opportunities for improvement in our system

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hadoop development and administration
Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, Spark, and MapReduce
Experience with ETL processes and tools
Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Experience with data warehousing concepts and techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven experience in delivering high-quality solutions within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with cloud-based Hadoop solutions such as AWS or Azure
Understanding of Big Data concepts and technologies such as HBase, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
Certification in Hadoop or related technologies
