Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Application Developer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Application Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of our clients. You will have a key role in managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered within the given time frame.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other cross-functional team members to gather project requirements and define project goals
• Plan and manage project timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure that coding standards are followed
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the development process
• Ensure that the software development process is efficient and adheres to industry best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in application development to continuously improve our processes and products
• Communicate project updates, progress, and any issues to stakeholders and senior management
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that applications meet the required quality standards
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
• Extensive experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex software applications
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems quickly and efficiently
• A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the software development industry
• Experience with cloud computing and DevOps is a plus
