Job Title: NoSQL Data Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled NoSQL Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a NoSQL Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our NoSQL database systems. You will work closely with our development and data science teams to understand their data needs and provide efficient solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in NoSQL databases and data architecture, with a passion for optimizing data storage and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain our NoSQL database systems to meet our data storage and retrieval needs
• Collaborate with development teams to understand data requirements and provide recommendations for efficient data storage
• Work closely with data scientists to ensure proper data modeling and data integration for analytics and reporting purposes
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures for maintaining data quality and security
• Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize data storage and retrieval
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with the latest NoSQL database technologies and trends and make recommendations for their implementation
• Train and mentor junior data team members on NoSQL database design and architecture best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a NoSQL Data Architect or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
• Proficiency in data modeling and database design principles
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Familiarity with data governance and security policies and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with cloud-based NoSQL databases is a plus
• Relevant certifications in NoSQL databases is a plus
