Job Title: Principal Cloud Network Engineer

Salary: $248000 - $276000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based network infrastructure. You will be a key player in ensuring the stability and scalability of our network to support our growing business needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for cloud technology and a strong background in network engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based network solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design network solutions that align with company goals
• Manage and maintain cloud network infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network
• Conduct regular network audits and proactively identify and resolve any potential issues
• Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cloud networking to continuously improve our network infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a cloud-based environment
• Extensive experience with cloud network technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking ��� Specialty) are a plus
