Salary: $152000 - $192000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Scripting Engineer to join our growing team. As a Python Scripting Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient and scalable Python scripts to support our company's software and systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate various processes and tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and develop solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug existing scripts to ensure optimal performance
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices
• Test and deploy scripts to ensure reliable and consistent functionality
• Monitor and optimize script performance to ensure scalability
• Stay updated with latest Python libraries and tools and incorporate them in scripting tasks
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Python scripting and development
• Proficient in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with database management and SQL
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps tools and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Docker)
• Familiarity with web development and frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
• Knowledge of cloud computing and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Certifications in Python or related technologies
