Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement ETL processes using Python and related tools and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop ETL solutions that meet business requirements.
Perform data analysis and identify data quality issues and recommend solutions to address them.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to integrate ETL processes with data warehouses and analytics platforms.
Continuously optimize ETL processes for improved performance and scalability.
Document ETL processes, data mappings, and data dictionaries.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in ETL development and make recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of years of experience in Python development and ETL processes.
Extensive experience with ETL tools and technologies such as Airflow, Pentaho, or Informatica.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
