Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and infrastructure using Python to improve the efficiency of our DevOps processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and streamline DevOps workflows and processes

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and scalability

Work closely with software development teams to integrate new features and updates into existing systems

Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures

Analyze and optimize system performance and resource usage

Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for DevOps processes

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on Python

Strong understanding of software development and release processes

Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting

Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with source control tools such as Git

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI

Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or VirtualBox

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios or Splunk

Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or MongoDB

Certifications in DevOps or cloud computing

As a Python DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
