Job Title: Salesforce Software Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our Salesforce platform to support our business operations. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement Salesforce solutions that meet our business requirements and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
• Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements and improve user experience
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Salesforce platform
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features and evaluate their potential impact on our business processes
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following Salesforce best practices and coding standards
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality of the solutions
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance our Salesforce platform and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce development and customization
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and software development lifecycle
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus
