Salary: $209000 - $240000

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Android Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Android Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our Android applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and user-friendly Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of our Android applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and performant
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are being followed
• Mentor and guide other Android developers, providing technical guidance and support
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Android development space and advocate for their adoption within the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Android development
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor���s or Master���s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Android development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Java programming language
• Experience with Android Architecture Components, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications
• Experience with cross-platform development is a plus
