Salary: $171000 - $208000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake ETL Developer to join our dynamic data engineering team. As a Snowflake ETL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse and data pipelines. You will work closely with our data scientists and analysts to ensure timely and accurate data delivery for business insights and decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake and other ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Create and maintain data models, data mappings, and data dictionaries for our data warehouse
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and data quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure and processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL development using Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehouse architecture, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Matillion, Informatica, or Talend
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Certifications in data engineering or cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure)
