Job Title: CP4D Architect
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $228000 - $256000
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CP4D Architect to join our dynamic team. As a CP4D Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall architecture of the CP4D platform aligns with business objectives and meets the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the overall architecture of the CP4D platform, including application and data integration, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements, feature enhancements, and technical solutions
- Evaluate and recommend the appropriate technologies and tools to support the CP4D platform
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the CP4D platform
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CP4D technology, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Lead meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements, progress, and deliverables
- Mentor and train team members on the CP4D platform and best practices
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and standards
- Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CP4D Architect or a similar role
- Solid understanding of Cloud Pak for Data architecture, components, and capabilities
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level applications and data architectures
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing and data management technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Advanced skills in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data integration tools, such as IBM DataStage or Informatica
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven experience in project management and agile methodologies
- Certifications in Cloud Pak for Data or other related technologies are a plus
