Job Title: UNIX Software Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UNIX Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a UNIX Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications for UNIX operating systems. You will work closely with our team of developers and engineers to design and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UNIX systems, programming languages, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for UNIX operating systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet client needs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as C, C++, and Java
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications
• Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet quality standards
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in UNIX systems and programming languages

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UNIX Software Engineer or similar role
• Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java
• Strong understanding of UNIX operating systems, shell scripting, and system administration
• Experience with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
