Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain VoIP systems, including call routing, call control, and media handling components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Develop and implement new features and functionality for our VoIP systems, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VoIP systems
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure quality and functionality of VoIP systems
• Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in the VoIP space
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Document technical specifications and processes for future reference
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate their products with our VoIP systems
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in VoIP system development
• Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and other VoIP protocols
• Experience with open-source VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Familiarity with database management and SQL
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus
