Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement wireless network solutions, including access points, controllers, and other network hardware.
Perform site surveys to determine optimal placement of wireless equipment.
Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper integration of wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in wireless network design and implementation.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide support and troubleshooting for wireless network issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing wireless networks.
Extensive knowledge of wireless networking protocols, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.
Strong understanding of network security, including WPA/WPA2 protocols and encryption methods.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and SolarWinds.
Familiarity with network virtualization and software-defined networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification is a plus.
