Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of our backend systems, using cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.
Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of our backend systems.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in backend development, and recommend relevant technologies and tools to improve our systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and practices within the development team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal role.
Extensive experience in developing and maintaining large-scale, complex backend systems.
Strong expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
In-depth knowledge of database technologies, such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior developers.
A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
