Position: Senior Manual Tester

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $114000 - $144000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manual Tester to join our team. As a Senior Manual Tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting manual test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report bugs and defects, and provide recommendations for improvements. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will play a key role in ensuring the overall success and satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications
• Conduct thorough and systematic testing to identify bugs and defects
• Document and report test results, defects, and recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the software after bug fixes and enhancements
• Participate in test planning and estimation activities
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior manual testers
• Continuously improve and optimize manual testing processes and procedures
• Stay updated with industry best practices and new testing methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Proven experience in designing, executing, and documenting manual test cases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
