Position: Senior NLP Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NLP Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior NLP Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions to improve our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design and implement NLP solutions that meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NLP, machine learning, and deep learning, as well as excellent programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement NLP solutions to improve our products and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop NLP solutions that address those needs
• Conduct research and experiments to improve the performance of existing NLP models and algorithms
• Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to develop NLP models and algorithms
• Develop tools and processes to support data collection, preprocessing, and annotation for NLP tasks
• Train and evaluate NLP models and fine-tune them for specific use cases
• Monitor and analyze the performance of NLP models and make necessary improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and incorporate them into our solutions
• Mentor and guide junior NLP engineers and provide technical leadership on NLP projects
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate NLP solutions into our products and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in NLP, machine learning, and deep learning
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other languages commonly used in NLP
• Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, spaCy, and TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience with NLP tasks such as text classification, information extraction, and sentiment analysis
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization for NLP tasks
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and numerical methods used in NLP
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in mentoring and leading a team is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies is a plus
