Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of NLP engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy NLP models and algorithms for various business use cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and data science to understand business requirements and translate them into NLP solutions
Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP to continuously improve our models and algorithms
Develop and maintain NLP pipelines to process large volumes of unstructured data
Design and implement data acquisition and preprocessing methods to ensure high-quality training data for NLP models
Develop and maintain APIs and integrations to deploy NLP models into production systems
Lead and contribute to the development of NLP-related tools, libraries, and frameworks
Mentor and train junior NLP engineers in best practices and industry standards
Present NLP solutions and outcomes to stakeholders and provide recommendations for further improvements
Collaborate with the technical leadership team to develop NLP strategy and roadmap for the company

Qualifications:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a focus on NLP, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in NLP with demonstrated success in designing and deploying NLP solutions in a production environment
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, and experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
In-depth knowledge of NLP techniques and algorithms such as text classification, sentiment analysis, information extraction, and language translation
Experience with deep learning architectures and techniques for NLP such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and strong knowledge of containerization and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to design and implement innovative NLP solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience in leading and mentoring teams is preferred
A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in NLP
