Position: Lead Manual Tester

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Lead Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Manual Tester, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting manual testing of our software products to ensure their quality and functionality. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any defects or issues, and collaborate with them to find solutions. You will also be responsible for creating and executing test plans, as well as maintaining thorough documentation of test cases and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and report any defects or issues
• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and find solutions to any issues that arise during testing
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and documentation
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of our software products
• Provide timely and accurate reports on the status of testing and any issues that arise
• Mentor and train junior manual testers and ensure their adherence to testing processes and procedures
• Continuously improve and optimize the manual testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manual testing methodologies and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing
• Proven experience with creating and executing test plans and documenting test cases and results
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with regression testing and identifying and troubleshooting defects
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is preferred
