Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. As a Junior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our internal team members. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by team members via email, phone, or in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and escalate to senior team members when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
• Set up and troubleshoot user accounts and permissions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Provide training and support to team members on new technologies and software applications.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience with remote desktop support tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
