Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving our research and development efforts, with a focus on applying scientific principles and techniques to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex research projects and develop cutting-edge solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and trends
• Design, develop and implement algorithms to solve challenging problems in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, and data mining
• Utilize your expertise in deep learning and other state-of-the-art techniques to develop and improve our existing models
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other related fields, and apply them to enhance our products and services
• Collaborate with product teams to understand business needs and develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements
• Publish research papers and present at conferences to showcase our advancements in the field of applied science

Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in applied science, with a focus on machine learning and data analysis
• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and algorithm design
• Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex problems using machine learning and other related techniques
• Extensive experience in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java
• In-depth understanding of deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
