Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Principal AI Ethics Specialist to join our team. As the Principal AI Ethics Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ethical guidelines and policies for our organization's Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional critical thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of AI technology and its ethical implications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of ethical guidelines and policies for our organization's AI systems.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging ethical issues related to AI technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that ethical considerations are incorporated into the design, development, and deployment of AI systems.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on ethical principles and practices related to AI technology.
• Monitor the ethical performance of our AI systems and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in AI ethics and incorporate them into our organization's practices.
• Represent our organization in external forums and conferences to share our ethical approach to AI technology.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our AI systems comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on ethical considerations related to AI technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working in AI technology, with a focus on ethics and responsible AI.
• In-depth understanding of AI technology and its ethical implications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing ethical guidelines and policies.
• Ability to stay current with industry developments and advancements in AI ethics.
• Experience in delivering training programs and presentations to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
