Position: Junior Data Modeler

Salary: $97 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Modeler to join our growing team. As a Junior Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models for our organization. Your main goal will be to ensure that our data is organized, accurate, and easily accessible for analysis and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior data modelers to design, develop, and implement data models that meet business requirements
• Analyze and understand complex data sets to identify key data elements and relationships
• Create logical and physical data models using industry standard tools and methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document data requirements
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data mapping documents
• Identify and resolve data model issues and inconsistencies
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data modeling
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures
• Participate in data quality initiatives and perform data quality checks to ensure data integrity
• Provide support to end-users for data model-related issues and inquiries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in data modeling and database design
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data warehouse design principles
• Experience with data governance and data quality processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
