Job Title: Principal Knowledge Graph Engineer

Salary: $135 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Knowledge Graph Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Knowledge Graph Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our knowledge graph platform, which serves as the backbone of our organization's data ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions. This is a leadership role, and you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and driving innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our organization's knowledge graph platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the knowledge graph platform.
• Mentor, train, and guide junior engineers to ensure high-quality code and efficient delivery of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to knowledge graphs and utilize them to enhance our platform.
• Drive innovation and continuously improve the knowledge graph platform to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to integrate machine learning algorithms into the knowledge graph platform.
• Conduct code reviews, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the knowledge graph platform.
• Participate in the hiring process for new team members and assist in building a strong and diverse team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience working with knowledge graphs.
• Strong experience in designing and developing knowledge graph platforms using tools such as Neo4j, Stardog, or AllegroGraph.
• In-depth knowledge of graph database concepts, query languages, and graph algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
