Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring the network operates at optimal levels
Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with industry best practices and company guidelines
Lead and manage a team of network administrators, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success
Collaborate with other IT teams to plan, coordinate, and implement network-related projects, such as network upgrades or expansions
Conduct regular network assessments and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades to enhance network performance and security
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment and software, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for the network, ensuring business continuity in the event of a network outage or disaster
Monitor network traffic and security logs, proactively identifying and addressing potential security threats or breaches
Stay updated on emerging network technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the company's network infrastructure
Provide 24/7 on-call support for network-related issues and emergencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
Strong technical knowledge and experience with network protocols, hardware, and software, such as TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, Cisco, and Juniper
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures
Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and VPNs
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, are highly desirable
