Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SOC Analyst to join our team of cybersecurity professionals. As a Senior SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and protecting our organization's digital assets from cyber threats. You will work closely with our security operations team to ensure the security and integrity of our network and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various sources including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
• Develop and implement strategies for threat detection and response.
• Identify vulnerabilities in systems and develop remediation plans.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Participate in security incident response and coordinate with external security teams if necessary.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SOC analysts.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Conduct periodic review and testing of our organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other stakeholders on the current state of our security posture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a SOC analyst.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, network infrastructure, and applications.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify potential security incidents.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
