Salary: $138 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As the Principal UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design vision and strategy for our company's digital products. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and user-centric designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across all digital products
• Lead the design process from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of designs
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define and implement design solutions
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the design team
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and helping them grow in their roles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into effective design solutions
• Participate in design reviews and present design concepts to stakeholders for feedback and approval

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC, etc.
• Experience working with design systems and creating design assets for developers
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of front-end development and ability to code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of designers
