Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal User Researcher to join our dynamic team. As a Principal User Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform and guide the development of our products. You will be responsible for leading and executing user research initiatives across various platforms, including web, mobile, and emerging technologies. This position requires a strong background in user research and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of user research projects, including defining research goals, creating research plans, recruiting participants, conducting research, and analyzing results.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to identify research needs and drive user-centered design practices.
• Develop and maintain a research roadmap to prioritize and plan research activities based on business objectives and timelines.
• Synthesize research findings and communicate insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other methods.
• Mentor and guide junior researchers on research methodologies, best practices, and data analysis techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in user research and incorporate them into our research processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in user research, preferably in a fast-paced technology or product-driven organization.
• Proven track record of leading and executing user research projects from end to end, including developing research plans, conducting research, and delivering actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, such as user-centered design, design thinking, and agile development.
• Experience with a variety of research methods, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and identify key insights.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in user research and incorporating them into research processes.
