Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the game design team to bring their ideas to life and create captivating gameplay experiences
Lead the development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Design and implement game mechanics, systems, and features that align with the game's vision and design
Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are met
Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
Optimize game performance for various platforms
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the game development process
Communicate project status and any potential risks to the project manager and team members
Work closely with artists and designers to integrate art and assets into the game engine
Provide technical support to the team throughout the development process

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C#
Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
Knowledge of mobile game development and optimization
Solid understanding of game development principles, including game design, gameplay mechanics, and AI
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
