Salary: $135 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Principal Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex network architectures to support business requirements and ensure scalability, availability, and security.
• Conduct thorough network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of network engineering, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and cloud networking.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and support to drive successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network-related policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize network performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot network incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to business operations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and provide recommendations for adopting new technologies and processes.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
• Expert-level knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, VLANs, MPLS, and VPN.
• Extensive experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network architectures for large-scale, complex environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud networking, particularly AWS and Azure, is a plus.
