Position Overview: As the Principal Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud security infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure that our cloud environment is secure, compliant, and resilient against cyber threats. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and providing leadership in developing and implementing security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environment is secure and compliant.
• Develop and implement security best practices, policies, and procedures for our cloud environment.
• Monitor and analyze cloud security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any security gaps.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, and develop plans to prevent future occurrences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the security team.
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for our cloud environment.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the security of our cloud environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, tools, and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and data encryption.
• Experience with security incident response and crisis management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
