Salary: $123 Per hour

Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Firmware Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of firmware for our innovative products. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for our hardware devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of firmware engineers in the design, development, and testing of embedded software for our products.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for firmware development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers to ensure successful product development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of firmware projects.
• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for firmware development.
• Design and implement firmware architecture and develop efficient and scalable code.
• Test and debug firmware to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for firmware design, development, and testing processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in firmware development to continuously improve our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of C/C++ programming languages and experience with embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of firmware design principles and experience with real-time operating systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and other hardware components.
• Familiarity with software development tools such as JTAG, debuggers, and emulators.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
