Key Responsibilities:

Assist with database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Monitor database performance and identify and resolve any issues.
Create and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plans.
Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access.
Troubleshoot and resolve database related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database availability and performance.
Participate in database design and optimization activities.
Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as index rebuilds and data purging.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and standard operating procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
1-2 years of experience working with databases, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of database concepts and principles.
Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Knowledge of database security and backup and recovery strategies.
Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
