Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal IT Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT professionals, providing technical guidance and expertise, and ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT department.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the company's overall IT operations.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet the company's current and future needs.
• Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve the company's IT capabilities and drive innovation.
• Maintain the company's IT security posture, ensuring that all systems and data are secure and protected from external threats.
• Monitor the performance of IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage the company's IT budget, making strategic decisions to optimize costs and investments.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions to support their business objectives.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the IT industry and make recommendations for their implementation in the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in a variety of IT systems, including servers, networks, security, and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and policies.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards a common goal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in budget management and cost optimization.
• Certifications in relevant IT fields, such as CISSP, CCNA, or PMP, are highly preferred.
