Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Warehouse Developer to join our dynamic team. As the Principal Data Warehouse Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our data warehouse systems. You will play a critical role in defining data warehouse architecture, data integration strategies, and data governance processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our data warehouse systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse architecture, including data models, data dictionaries, and data integration strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and provide recommendations for data quality improvements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, ensuring best practices are followed and standards are met.
• Stay updated with the latest data warehouse technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data warehouse systems and processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data warehouse systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and developing data warehouse systems.
• Proven experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration strategies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data governance and data quality management.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Data Warehouse Architect (CDWA) is a plus.
