Position: Cloud Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and scalability. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to implement and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet our company's evolving needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain our company's cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and security
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, and scalability
• Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions into our existing systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud infrastructure and applications
• Develop and maintain documentation related to our cloud infrastructure and processes
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing technologies and make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-effective cloud solutions
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the cloud environment
• Train and mentor junior team members on cloud technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing is a plus
