Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the senior data architect to design and implement data architecture solutions that support business needs and objectives.
Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Work with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and improve data processing performance.
Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with data scientists to support data analysis and machine learning initiatives.
Stay updated with the latest data architecture trends and technologies to recommend improvements to our existing data infrastructure.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to the senior data architect and project managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
