Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's web applications and websites. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create robust, user-friendly, and scalable web solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities
• Develop and maintain code libraries for future use and scalability
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support when needed
• Participate in project planning and estimation discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet the business needs
• Ensure all web applications and websites are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices
• Continuously improve and optimize existing web applications and websites to enhance user experience and performance
• Proactively identify and propose solutions for potential technical challenges or roadblocks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Web Developer or a similar role
• Proven experience in developing responsive and user-friendly web applications and websites
• Solid understanding of front-end development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
• Strong experience with back-end development languages and frameworks such as PHP, Python, and Ruby on Rails
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Extensive knowledge of web standards and best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects
