Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our network and provide technical expertise to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
• Lead a team of network engineers and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure the team's success
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and processes
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network performance and availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network improvements and upgrades
• Conduct regular network assessments and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations
• Manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve the company's network infrastructure
• Provide technical support and guidance to other teams, including the help desk and software development teams
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and respond to network emergencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with a proven track record of leading network infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, as well as network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus
