Position Title: Infrastructure Lead
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $228000 - $256000
About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Lead to take charge of our company's technology infrastructure. As the Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's hardware, software, networking, and other related technology systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement, stability, and security of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's infrastructure strategy in line with business objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify infrastructure needs and provide solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the company's hardware, including servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and applications on all company devices.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems by implementing and enforcing proper protocols and procedures.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Lead the infrastructure team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company's infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining data center operations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL, are highly desirable.
