Job Title: Middleware Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Overview: As a Middleware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the middleware infrastructure that supports our company's applications and services. You will work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our software products. This role requires a strong understanding of middleware technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement middleware solutions that support our company's applications and services.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain middleware components such as application servers, web servers, and message brokers.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application code is properly integrated with the middleware infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware components, working closely with system administrators and other IT teams as needed.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for middleware systems and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest middleware technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with middleware technologies.
• Strong understanding of middleware concepts and components such as application servers, web servers, and message brokers.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting middleware components in a production environment.
• Experience working with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Puppet, or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
