Position: Mobile QA Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $152000 - $192000

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive testing strategies for mobile applications
• Design and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues found during testing
• Perform regression testing to ensure product stability and functionality after updates and changes
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover any potential issues or bugs
• Continuously improve and maintain test cases and test suites to ensure maximum test coverage
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during testing
• Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality and testability
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using industry standard tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile testing and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Communicate testing progress and results to project stakeholders
• Provide support and training to other team members on testing processes and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application testing
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks like XCTest, Espresso, or similar
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Swift
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document bugs and issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
