Job Description: Lobox is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Junior Data Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company adheres to all data protection and privacy laws and regulations. You will work closely with the Compliance team to ensure that our data practices are in line with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks
• Monitor and analyze data processing activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
• Review and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection and privacy controls, including data encryption and access controls
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data protection and privacy regulations
• Act as a point of contact for data protection inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with emerging data protection laws and regulations and make recommendations for compliance improvements
• Assist with the development and maintenance of data protection impact assessments and data mapping exercises
• Participate in audits and investigations related to data protection and privacy compliance
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and senior management regarding data protection activities and compliance status

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or data protection
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with data protection impact assessments and data mapping preferred
• Professional certification in data protection or compliance (e.g. CIPP, CIPM) is a plus
